Year 6 Victorian Workshop Experience

As part of the year 6 Victorian topic, the pupils took part in the Freshwater Theatre Victorian workshop.

The pupils were transported back to 1899 and experienced lessons they wouldn’t forget by a Victorian schoolteacher who assessed handwriting and taught drills and arithmetic. One facilitator visited our school in their role as a Victorian schoolteacher, covering different aspects of the Victorian curriculum and exploring the cultural context of the time.
