On Friday 4th November, 10 children from Year 3 and 4 took part in a Tag Rugby Tournament at Arch Bishop Lanfranc school in Croydon.

 

The tournament was organised by Croydon School Sports Partnership and 8 schools in total took part.

The afternoon began with some warm up exercises. After this, the teams were introduced to tag rugby, and demonstrations of the game were shown to the children. All the schools played each other, in some very exciting matches! The afternoon was finished off with a certificate giving ceremony.

 

Despite the rainy, cold weather, everyone had a really fun afternoon!
