Reception Trip to Godstone Farm

On 30th June 2025, our Reception pupils from Norbury Manor Primary School had an exciting and educational trip to Godstone Farm as part of their topic on animals and creatures. This memorable visit provided our young learners with a wonderful opportunity to engage directly with nature and develop their understanding of the animal world.

During the trip, the children experienced the joy of holding a variety of animals, which brought their learning to life in a meaningful way. This hands-on experience not only deepened their knowledge of different creatures but also helped to nurture their natural curiosity and enthusiasm for learning key aspects of our school vision to foster enthusiastic, independent learners. The calm and respectful behaviour exhibited by the children around the animals helped create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
