Primary Maths Challenge
The Primary Mathematics Challenge is a fun and exciting mathematical Challenge aimed at pupils in years 5 and 6.
The PMC is designed to make pupils think outside the box. The questions asked are not necessarily subjects that have been covered in the curriculum by this time but the questions can create a great starting point and lead to discussions later in the year.
We are pleased to announce that the 2017/2018 Primary Maths Challenge has been completed.
68 000 pupils entered in November, with 3255 pupils who scored 20 or more being invited to take part in the Bonus Round in February 2018.
In the Bonus Round 5 pupils scored full marks, 9 scored 24, 29 scored 23, 47 scored 22 and 77 scored 21. These 167 pupils will be receiving Gold awards. 657 pupils will receive Silver awards and a massive 1033 will receive Bronze awards.
