Ghana Class Attendance Award
At Norbury Manor Primary School, we believe that regular attendance is essential for our pupils to reach their full potential. That's why we were thrilled to celebrate the outstanding attendance of our Ghana class, who were recognised for having the best class attendance on 15th October 2024.
As a reward for their dedication and commitment, the Ghana class enjoyed making their own pizzas together, a fun and engaging activity that reinforced our school's values of Scholarship, Excellence, and Community.
Our school's curriculum is designed to "match the Early Years Foundation Stage and National Curriculums and is characterised by 'Depth to Enable Breadth'." By fostering a love of learning and a sense of community, we aim to develop our pupils into "enthusiastic, independent learners who view the world around them with enquiring minds and give them the resources to be 'learners today and leaders tomorrow.'"
The Ghana class's achievement is a testament to the hard work and support of both our pupils and their families. At Norbury Manor, we believe that "children whose parents are involved and interested in their learning do well," and we encourage all of our families to be active members of the school community.
Our school's values of Resilience, Empathy, Scholarship, Peace, Excellence, Community, and Thankfulness are woven throughout our curriculum and daily life. The Ghana class's attendance award is a shining example of how these values are put into practice, helping our pupils develop the skills and mindset to become "learners today and leaders tomorrow."
We are proud of the Ghana class's accomplishment and look forward to celebrating more successes like this in the future. By working together as a community, we can ensure that all of our pupils have the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
