Family Learning and CALAT
We ran a Family Learning English as an additional language course in conjunction with CALAT. It was a 15 week course, which ran every Tuesday 9 – 11.30am.
The adults had their lesson with Sue the tutor for 2 hours, and then we held joint sessions with the adults and children for half an hour.
The joint sessions were activities based around the adult learning.
We did a range of activities like making sandwiches, playing board games, making puppets, and visiting the library.
I am pleased to announce that all the parents passed their entry level exam, and now they can all progress onto level 1 English.
