Elf on the Shelf
Guess who is coming to visit NMP?
The Elf on the Shelf: A Christmas Tradition is a 2005 children's picture book, written by Carol Aebersold and her daughter Chanda Bell, and illustrated by Coë Steinwart. The book tells a Christmas-themed story, written in rhyme, that explains how Santa Claus knows who is naughty and who is nice. It describes elves visiting children up to Christmas Eve, after which the elves return to the North Pole until the next festive season.
At Norbury Manor Primary School late this afternoon, a magic door appeared to welcome our NMP Elf. Santa has allocated him a list of things to see and do during December.
He will be popping up all over school!.
Sometimes he is cheeky or mischievous......Sometimes he is very well behaved!.
Our Elf will be sharing the story of his visits each day and then he will travel to the North Pole at night to update Santa on Norbury Manor School..
Keep your eyes open in the morning ...he might leave footprints.....
