ELF greetings
Hi Santa, I am starting to think that we should relocate Elf HQ to Norbury Manor Primary! I have been so happy here.. it’s been an eventful time…..
Elf day Friday was just magic and I felt like I was back in the North Pole – so many big and little elves walking around (I blended in so well)..
During enterprise week, the whole school was a hive of activity as they are prepared for the Christmas productions, Christmas lunch and Winter Fayre (with all the amazing enterprise creations)
and I started to noticed that Miss Michelle in reception has a lot more Christmas jumpers than even Elvis the Elf…
Speaking of Elvis…(naughty elf) he has been popping up around school too (he kept sneaking in after I told him what a great place NMP is) and he was caught riding the bike in the display cabinet on Monday and even “borrowed” Miss Sue’s perfume!! I wondered if he was going to wrap it up as a gift for her??? He has been playing hide and seek since last week….
We also had the police and finger print teams come and review all the evidence in the “crime of the century” – the mince pies taken from Mrs. Potter’s office...
They are hot on the culprit’s heels (ELVIS being very naughty I think……) and the boys and girls waiting for their play leader interviews witnessed everything…. The scene of crime board was put up by the school office to help the Police catch the culprit and catch him they most certainly did!
Christmas lunch was Scrummy and I visited class parties and had a little sing along…
Miss Williams asked me if I wanted to be on the interview panel to help select next terms play leaders (they get a lovely hat!) it was awesome!! – so many helpful and kind pupils applied to help others in their playtime. I heard Paige and the others chatting outside about what they thought a good play leader is.
I made an early start to school on Wednesday to get ready for the big day…It was the Christmas Nativity and then our Christmas lunch, it’s all looking festive with real trees which Miss Molly and our special elf helpers decorated , crackers and decorations. .Miss Walton and Miss Norma must have blown the budget on all those crackers…..
The nativity was Magic! Early years sang and performed like superstars, they also had the school Choir and Tin whistle group to accompany their show! I had a special seat reserved on top of Mr Ruddy’s Piano and sang along…(Miss carol still thinks I need to practice my singing)
Then After a scrummy Christmas lunch , I had a long nap zzzzzzzzzzz – All that Turkey!!
I was so full up my tummy is starting to look like yours Santa….
I had a busy day on Thursday watching all the pupils making their items for the Winter Fayre and listening to the plans they had made- wow! What teamwork! Then on Friday they held the first Enterprise Winter fayre and it was amazing and very busy… the amazing pupils raised lots of money for the sensory room.
Miss Walton told everyone in Assembly on Monday with Miss Norma that the pupils had raised nearly £750 pounds … wow!! Elf points for every pupil on class Dojo..
School is closing for the holidays now , so I will be making my way back to the North Pole to help get everything ready for Christmas Eve… I have had such a happy time at Norbury Manor Primary School and the Staff and Pupils are amazing! I hope that they all have a lovely holiday.
I left a few report cards (Mrs Potter is on the nice list)
I hope you will let me come back next year to see everyone again.....
see you really soon Santa
Elf wishes from
Stanley Elf ...................and Elvis Elf :-)
