Deaf Drama Workshop for Years 4, 5 & 6

Over the past year, Zoo Co created Bossy, a family show celebrating Black Caribbean culture, performed by a deaf and hearing cast in spoken English and British Sign Language.

The workshop encourages pupils to devise a short performance in small groups to explore Caribbean culture, celebrate different cultural identities, and gain confidence in talking about things that matter to them. They also learn acting and collaboration skills through theatre games and activities.
