CALAT Family Learning

Calat Family Learning ended in March 2019.

The course ran for 12 weeks and was very successful.

Each Thursday from 9am – 12 pm, 10 parents and children worked really hard and learned much about the many aspects of the English Language.

Every week the parents woked with Sue, their Calat tutor, while two members of staff worked with their children. 

For the last half an hour of the morning the parents and children worked on activities together. The activities included reading books together, making things, and one week we even managed a trip to the library.

The course ended with a class bring and share a dish party.

Congratulations to the class who completed the course with flying colours!

Our second course of the year started in April, and we hope to run the course again in September.
