Dip and Do Showcase

Welcome to our Dip and Do Showcase!

At Norbury Manor, we believe that learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Our Dip and Do activities give children opportunities to choose, explore and extend their learning at home in creative and interesting ways.

Dip and Do also gives children opportunities to practise and develop their Skills Builder essential skills. As children research, design, create, investigate and solve problems, they may use skills such as Creativity, Problem Solving, Aiming High, Staying Positive, Leadership, Teamwork, Speaking and Listening.

This showcase celebrates the fantastic learning our pupils have chosen to complete. You might see models, investigations, artwork, writing, photographs, presentations, outdoor learning and lots of wonderfully creative ideas. Alongside their work, children are encouraged to think about what they learned, which Skills Builder skills they used and how those skills helped them complete their project.

We are proud to celebrate children’s effort, independence, creativity and enthusiasm for learning. Pupils who complete Dip and Do activities receive a special Headteacher’s Dip and Do sticker in recognition of their work.
