Year 4 Exploration at the London Wetland Centre
On Thursday, 5th March 2026, our Year 4 students enjoyed an exciting educational visit to the London Wetland Centre as part of their Geography and Science topics. This unique experience allowed our pupils to get close to wetland wildlife from the UK and across the globe, providing a practical look at rivers, the water cycle, and the states of matter.
This trip perfectly embodies our school value of Scholarship, as it helps children develop lively, enquiring minds and the ability to think for themselves. By engaging with the natural world, our pupils strengthen their understanding of the "Branches of Learning" they explore in the classroom. At Norbury Manor, we believe these enrichment experiences are the "trunk" that symbolises the strength of our students' character. We are proud to provide a curriculum characterised by "Depth to Enable Breadth."
