Year 2 and Year 3 Carbon Monoxide Safety Workshops

On Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th March 2026, our Year 2 and Year 3 pupils participated in vital Carbon Monoxide Workshops as part of Safety Week. These half-day sessions, facilitated by trained experts, used fun and engaging activities to educate children and their families on the dangers of carbon monoxide (CO). Pupils explored how CO is created, its effects on the human body, and essential safety steps, linking to various curriculum areas including STEM and the Great Fire of London.

This initiative brilliantly highlights our school value of Resilience. By learning to identify potential dangers and developing strategies to stay safe, our students are gaining the skills needed to cope with challenges and protect the safety of everyone in our school Community. We aim to ensure our children believe that facing obstacles with the right knowledge helps turn their dreams into a reality.
