National Dental Epidemiology Programme: Dental Surveys

On Tuesday 20th January 2026, Norbury Manor Primary School was randomly selected to participate in a vital dental survey for five-year-old schoolchildren in Reception and Year 1. This initiative is part of the National Dental Epidemiology Programme, led by the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities (OHID) and Croydon LA. Undertaken every two years, the survey provides essential information on the oral health of children across England to help reduce health inequalities and improve treatment services.

This programme reflects our school value of Excellence, as we aim to achieve excellence in all areas of our children's development, ensuring they have the resources to be healthy "learners today and leaders tomorrow". By participating in this survey, we are helping to ensure our children are provided with a broad and balanced experience that prioritises their well-being. The findings will be used to improve the dental health of children across the entire school Community.
