Elf report to Santa Claus

CSI – the case of the missing mince pie…

OH dear Santa! It was a really busy day today...and there was a crime!

Ms Walton got a call from  the Caretaker (Mr Tony) at 5 am  as there was an Elf Emergency at school. She was really grumpy at being woken up so early … but then when she heard what had happened, she just  had to call Mrs Potter and the whole of SLT into school early for an emergency meeting. So Ms Lordan, Mr Ruddy, Ms Stewart , Ms Williams, Ms Morton, Ms Walton and Mrs Potter had to “hot foot it “ into school pronto ! To deal with what Mr Tony had found when he arrived to open up school today……

It was a scandalous crime scene when I arrived through the elf door in reception…there was mess everywhere...The police where called and the CCTV downloaded …. Mr Tony was so shocked at what he found….

Somehow, someone had gotten into Mrs Potters office and taken her mince pies!... and she was she was saving one for you Santa!..

There were “elf prints” all over the place, so when the police arrived, they took fingerprints, put up crime scene tape, took photographs and looked at the CCTV with Mr Graham. It was shocking!!.. there was a vehicle involved. The police said a red tractor with the number plate “EL VIS” was seen exiting the scene with a police car in hot pursuit!.. he got away but not before we got a photo….

Mrs Potter was really brave and although her office was messy because of the Crime , she decided to “make every moment count” and carry on smiling through this... She asked the caretaker to clean up as much as possible so that the pupils would not be alarmed and she allowed the police to put up a scene of crime board (with all the evidence) next to the school office. In the hope that someone has seen who was responsible…

But Santa, I had my suspicions as to who was responsible for taking the mince pie…

My twin brother Elvis has a red tractor that he uses to load up all the presents at Elf HQ and it looks a lot like the one in the police photos!...

I did the right thing and followed the NMP rules and asked PC Offin if I should give a statement… he said “of course Stanley and thank you ” I spent time at the Norbury Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) station today where they took my statement and showed me around.. I even got to look at the work that they do in the area! – I think they need a “busy Elf award” in our next round of nominations!..

Sadly, it seems that the mince pie thief is still at large tonight..…. I hope that NMP and SNT find the person responsible and really soon….. maybe the pupils can help track him down and find out where he is hiding?….I know that there will be lots more elves at school tomorrow as I asked Mrs Potter if we could have an “elf” dress up day…(she said yes :-) so I hope the little elf helpers at NMP can help us to track him..

I am on my way back to the North Pole now, I really need to get busy with wrapping some of the gifts in the Elf HQ.

See you soon

Elf Wishes
