Brighten up your Bag Competition with Croydon Council
During December we ran the annual Brighten up your bag competition with Croydon Council.
We talked to the pupils about how to stay safe in the dark when walking or cycling.
The children learned about reflective materials, how to make bikes more visible in the dark, and how they could be seen by motorists by wearing suitable clothing.
The children then went on to design bags that would help them be seen in the dark.
The competition was open to all schools in Croydon.
Our pupils produced some fantastic designs, and we won the ' Best overall school' category for our designs!
