Norbury Manor Primary School

2025 We Are Norbury Challenge Week!

On the week beginning Monday 20th October 2025, Norbury Manor Primary school was buzzing with excitement during our 'We Are Norbury Challenge Week'! This vibrant event was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to delve into the rich tapestry of cultures that make up our school community. Children explored different languages, art, crafts, music, and traditional dance, and learned the meaning behind various flags. Parents and carers were actively involved, sharing their own cultures with the classes, and the children wore traditional customs or flag colours for a spectacular display. The event culminated in a wonderful feast.

The week brilliantly showcased our school Community and Scholarship values. The Community value encourages children to develop a responsible and caring attitude towards the local community and the wider world. The week fostered this by having pupils explore each other's cultures and for parents and carers to actively participate. Furthermore, the Scholarship value helps children to develop lively enquiring minds and the ability to question. This was evident as pupils explored each other's cultures, which involved learning about language, art, music, and flags. We extend a massive thank you to all the families and staff who contributed to making this week and the final feast such a huge success.
